The Brewery That Has The Northern Beaches Quaking

People who start breweries are always special people because 1) they decided to make beer for a living and 2) they had a previous life that meant they could afford to make beer for a living. However, Cam from Quakers Hat Brewing, in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, is extra special as he has the first two things and he answered my video chat on the first go! This might sound like I’m bagging out the other brewers I’ve interviewed and I swear I’m not but usually these people who have to deal with drunks and alcohol legislations understandingly have to reschedule the odd Zoom call with a hairy man calling himself a beer journalist. But not Cam.

As part of the long running Crafty Pint Who Brews series I interviewed Cam about his brewery that flourished as takeaway only joint during Covid lockdowns, is now a classically furnished venue well loved by locals and just popping up on the crafty radar.
